Favorite holiday tradition?

I've done different things on Christmas Day, but I've spent every Christmas Eve of my life with my parents and brothers and sisters at one of their homes, chowing down and exchanging gifts. I think just simply gathering together with my favorite people in the whole world like this is my favorite tradition.

How are you spending the holidays this year?

We'll do Christmas Eve in the country with my family, then we'll hit the road and get to my partner's family's celebration as early as possible on Christmas Day. It's a good amount of travel — but not as much as Santa!

Why should audiences come see THE SANTALAND DIARIES and SEASON’S GREETINGS?

A lot of Christmas presentations put a tinselly gloss on holiday fare, and I guess that's something to strive toward. But if you're like me, someone who takes delight and sees something "real" in the authentic hustle and bustle and pomp and circumstance of the season (even when they tend toward the crazy or wacky), you'll appreciate these stories for what they are: Genuine stories about the holidays bringing out the worst in us while they bring out the best in us.
